Like other applications WordPress also does have its own set of keyboard shortcuts, Keyboard shortcuts are helpful when you have to type a lot, as using mouse again and again for tasks which can be done with few keystrokes is not an efficient way and using keyboard as compared to the mouse is much easy, as mouse involves hovering and then clicking, For example if you have to select all the text you will have to press ctrl+a only whereas while using mouse it will take much more time and effort. If you have to paste something, the keyboard shortcut will be ctrl+v whereas in the case of a mouse it will be a hover first after that a right click and paste, much more effort and time.

Note: + sign doesn’t mean you have to Press it, It implies that you have to press these two or three buttons(before and after the sign +) simultaneously and Mac users will use “Command” instead of ctrl.
How to Memorize Keyboard Shortcuts
No one can memorize all the keyboard shortcuts in a day, however, it will be good if you can memorize it as soon as possible, as using your keyboard is much better and efficient as compared to using mouse, but don’t worry with regular use of these shortcuts you will memorize them, some of these shortcuts are common everywhere and for others just remember Alt+Shift+h.

1.When you are on your Visual Editor Just click on “Keyboard Shortcuts” the last button with a question mark, if you can’t see it click on “Toolbar Toggle” both have been marked in the below Image.
2.This will open a Pop-up box which will have all the keyboard shortcuts, you can use.
